Not really. I have pants, but they are too big for me to wear them now that I have lost 30 pounds.
So the look something like this:
For this particular pair I decided to go for skinny type pants, although I really feel funny calling anything I can wear 'skinny'. Anyway, that meant that I needed to take in the trousers all the way long – from waist to the bottom, going for 18 centimetres with at the bottom hem.
As pinning along makes me stressed as hell, I decided to use a pair of pants that fits me ok as a measure:
I have basically laid pants one on top of each other, marking the corduroy pants for trimming. Then I have pinned and stitched through. I used pinking shears and and tape to stop the fabric from unravelling.
As the waist was still a little to wide, and I did not feel like removing and refitting the waist, I have sewn darts on both sides above the back pockets, and I got this as a result:
Congrats on your transformation! Going through the same thing here, Went from a 24 to a size 16 and tried altering along the way.
